Mohammad Shariful Alam Chowdhury is a courageous investigative journalist, media entrepreneur, and editor from Muradnagar, Comilla, Bangladesh. He has been actively working in journalism since 1999.
He is the Founder and Editor of the online news portals Daily Ajker Kotha and Daily Joy Banglar Joy.
Through consistent investigative reporting on corruption, irregularities, abuse of power, and public interest issues, he has earned significant recognition both nationally and internationally.
He previously served as the General Secretary of Muradnagar Press Club and worked as a local correspondent for various national media outlets. Due to his strong stance on investigative journalism, he has faced threats, attacks, and harassment.
In 2020, a brutal attack against him following a corruption-related report gained international attention, raising serious concerns about journalist safety in Bangladesh.
Despite challenges, he continues to promote independent and fact-based journalism through his media platforms.
