The Banglar Diganta 3rd Anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm and festivity in Chattogram. The day-long program included a magazine unveiling, quiz competition, honors for distinguished personalities, and awards for meritorious students. Various professionals, educators, and media personnel were present at the event.
The event was graced by Mr. Iftekhar Ahmad Jewel, President of the Governing Body of Kumira Residential Girls’ School and College, who attended as the chief guest. In his speech, he praised Banglar Diganta for maintaining integrity and dedication in journalism.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammad Khairul Islam, Central Vice President of the National Journalists Association. He highlighted the importance of responsible journalism and encouraged young reporters to follow ethical standards.
Special guests at the event included Mr. Md. Nasir Uddin, Principal of Kumira Residential Girls’ School and College; Ms. Fatema Begum, Advisor of Banglar Diganta, former banker, and columnist; and Mr. Md. Nasir Uddin, CEO of LepARC Physiotherapy and Rehab Center, Chattogram. Each of them acknowledged Banglar Diganta’s contribution to honest and responsible journalism.
Mr. Md. Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Editor and Publisher of Banglar Diganta, presided over the event. In his address, he said, “The Banglar Diganta 3rd Anniversary is more than just a celebration — it symbolizes our commitment to truth and responsibility toward the people.”
The event was conducted by Mohammad Yunus, Chattogram Bureau Chief of Banglar Diganta, who smoothly moderated all the segments of the program.
As part of the celebration, students from various educational institutions participated in a quiz competition. Prizes were distributed among the winners. Distinguished personalities and outstanding students were honored in a formal ceremony.
A special anniversary magazine was also unveiled to mark the Banglar Diganta 3rd Anniversary, featuring insightful articles on politics, society, education, and human rights. This publication reflects the newspaper’s dedication to thoughtful and analytical journalism.
