Unidentified young man’s body found in Titas — Police in Cumilla’s Titas upazila recovered the body of an unidentified youth from a bushy area in Dhorikandi, under Jiarakandi Union, on Saturday morning. The gruesome discovery has sparked widespread shock and curiosity among local residents.
According to local sources and police, the young man was wearing jeans and a black T-shirt. A blood-stained knife was also recovered from the scene, suggesting possible foul play. The identity of the victim remains unknown at this time.
Titas Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Shahid Ullah Miyaji stated, “Preliminary investigations suggest the young man may have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped in this area by miscreants. We are trying to identify the deceased.”
Preparations are underway to send the body to Cumilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy as part of the ongoing investigation.
