Forged Signature of Expat! 4 More Set to Entangle in Female Editor’s Lawsuit
"Editor Sajeda Haque demands CID's forensic test for 4 close associates of the prime accused over a fabricated deed created during her stay in Saudi Arabia."
A forged deed was surprisingly created in the country while the victim was staying abroad! Editor and publisher of Daily Desh Saradin and Deshinfo.com.bd, Mst. Sajeda Haque, has launched a legal battle against the forgery of her signature. For a fair investigation and ensuring justice in the CR Case No. 1806/25, the female journalist submitted a written application to Mohammad Sirajul Masud, Additional SP of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), demanding forensic verification of the signatures of four more suspects.
According to application sources, this under-investigation CR case by Mostafa Kamal stems from a fraudulently created deed. The plaintiff, Sajeda Haque, stated that she was physically staying in Saudi Arabia on the date the controversial deed was fabricated. Consequently, her signature was entirely forged in her absence.
The forensic test for this case is scheduled for June 1. On the specified date, the plaintiff, the defendant, and one prime suspect are ordered to appear to provide their specimen signatures. However, plaintiff Editor and publisher Sajeda Haque believes a deeper mystery underlies this forgery racket. In the interest of justice, she has strongly demanded forensic tests for the signatures of four close associates of the main accused.
The four suspects requested to be brought under investigation are— Manzurul Hasan, Suman, Redwan, and Russel.
In her application, the editor noted that all four individuals are extremely close and trusted colleagues of the prime accused, Khandaker Mirajul Islam. When the plaintiff used to visit the accused’s office, these four individuals were regularly working there. As a result, it is highly suspected that one of them might have forged the signature under Mirajul’s instructions. Furthermore, they have also been strategically used as witnesses in other ongoing lawsuits involving Khandaker Mirajul.
Expressing full confidence in the traditional integrity and efficiency of the CID, the prominent female media professional expects that the CID will prioritize the application for the forensic test of these four individuals, unmask the masterminds behind the forgery, and ensure proper justice.
