The organisation supports journalists and media professionals through advocacy, emergency assistance, training, capacity building, and awareness programmes — helping independent media contribute to positive social change.
🎯 Main Responsibilities
- Support the Media in Conflict team to improve access to reliable information in conflict-prone and politically complex areas.
- Provide organisational, administrative, and financial coordination for international media development projects.
- Assist in project proposal writing, Theory of Change development, and donor reporting.
- Maintain effective relationships with local and international partners.
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and logistics for project activities.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare narrative and financial reports, and maintain documentation.
👩💼 Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international context.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (French is an asset).
- Proven experience in project management, partner coordination, and budget monitoring.
- Affinity with media development, journalism, and freedom of expression.
- Proactive, organised, and solution-oriented mindset.
💰 Salary and Benefits
- Gross monthly salary: €3,500 – €4,300 (depending on experience)
