The incident occurred on Monday afternoon (May 25) at the Gharmora market area in Homna.

According to local sources, Amena Begum went to the cattle market along with family members to sell a cow they had raised for Eid-ul-Azha. While trying to keep the animal at the market, the cow suddenly became aggressive and charged at her. The animal struck her forcefully with its horns, leaving her critically injured.

Locals and family members rushed her to Homna upzilla Health Complex, where doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
