Mohammad Enamul Haque, Bijoy TV’s Debidwar Upazila correspondent, has been appointed the acting general secretary of Debidwar Upazila Press Club. The decision was made following the medical leave of current general secretary Md. Akhtar Hossain. The appointment was confirmed on the evening of July 24 by the club’s assistant treasurer Md. Nesar Uddin.
Enamul Haque began his journalism career under the mentorship of renowned journalist A.B.M. Atikur Rahman Bashar. Over the years, he has served as a local correspondent for several notable national newspapers including Daily Samakal, Daily Sokal er Somoy, and Daily Jonobani.

Earlier, on May 19, 2024, the Debidwar Upazila Press Club held its biennial conference, during which a 23-member executive committee was formed. The committee elected A.B.M. Atikur Rahman Bashar (Daily Kaler Kantho) as President, Md. Akhtar Hossain (Daily Jugantor) as General Secretary, and Shafiul Alam Rajib (Daily Bhorer Suryodoy) as Organizing Secretary.
