The Bangladesh Awami League has extended congratulations and best wishes to all winners of the Legislative Assembly election in West Bengal.
In a message issued on May 8, the party conveyed greetings on behalf of its President and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.

The message congratulated all victorious candidates in the West Bengal assembly election, including representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Special congratulations were also extended to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari.
