The Flight Expert scam has shaken public trust in online travel services. One of Bangladesh’s top flight booking platforms, Flight Expert, has suddenly disappeared from the market. Their website is down, and their corporate office has reportedly been locked.
According to sales department officer Mamunur Rashid, “Our owner fled the country last night. We are heading to the police station to file a case.”

In an internal WhatsApp group, the company’s COO Salman claimed he was scapegoated by three top executives — Saeed, Hossain, and Sakib. He alleged that around 3 crore taka was withdrawn in a single day, triggering a severe liquidity crisis that forced the company to halt all operations.
Salman added, “They blamed me without letting me defend myself. I took leave for my safety; leaving like this was never my plan.”
🧳 Founded in 2017, once a trusted brand
Launched in March 2017, Flight Expert quickly became a trusted name in Bangladesh’s online travel industry. It offered a one-stop solution for airline tickets, hotel bookings, visa processing, and tour packages — both local and international.
Its popularity grew fast among young travelers thanks to easy online access, installment options, and discount offers.
📱 No updates since Hajj 2026 promo, social media reactions flood in
A check on the company’s official Facebook page shows the last post was about Hajj 2026 packages. Since then, there have been no updates.
Online users have expressed their frustration and anger. One user, Jayita Afrin, commented: “If a trusted company like Flight Expert flees the country overnight, who can we trust anymore?”
