Sajeeb Wazed Joy Corruption Allegation has erupted into a political firestorm, with Joy forcefully denying recent accusations made by Bangladesh’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) about his property holdings in the United States.
Taking to Facebook, Joy stated:
“I am not the owner of two homes in Virginia—only one, which I purchased in 2018, not last year. The other house was my previous residence, sold before buying this one.”

He clarified that his current home’s value has increased by nearly $1.5 million (approximately 18 crore BDT) since he bought it.
“I didn’t purchase it at the current price. I bought it much cheaper,” he added.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy Corruption Allegation, he said, is nothing but an attempt to shift public attention:
“This illegitimate government is under pressure and facing mass resentment. To distract people, they’re using the ACC to lodge false allegations against me.”
Joy further asserted:
“I am not a government official. I am an IT entrepreneur, living legally in the U.S., and I pay my taxes here.”
He also revealed that the FBI had already investigated him and found nothing unlawful.
“That’s why, when Yunus’s regime canceled my Bangladeshi passport, I was swiftly granted U.S. citizenship,” he wrote.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy Corruption Allegation, according to him, is also a veiled attempt to reveal his personal address and put his safety at risk:
“But this is the United States—where firearm ownership is legal and unrestricted. I am fully prepared and capable of protecting myself.”
He mockingly added:
“And for the record, my house number isn’t 32.”
Joy also issued a stern warning:
“If the ACC wants to seize my assets, let them try. My legal team in the U.S. is ready to file lawsuits against Momen and any others involved.”
