Journalist Afroza Sarker snatching incident occurred while she was returning home from her office. Around 7:45 PM yesterday, Afroza Sarker, the Sub-editor of Daily Destiny’s regional desk, was riding a rickshaw when she became the victim of a violent attack.
A miscreant suddenly pulled off her earring from behind, leaving her ear cut and bleeding. Despite her screams, the snatcher managed to escape within seconds.

In a Facebook post, Afroza Sarker wrote, “The earring may be gone, but the forceful pull cut my ear and it is still bleeding. Besides the physical pain, the shock of the incident has caused me fever. It is terrifying how cruel people can be for such a small piece of jewelry.”
She also expressed gratitude, saying that things could have been much worse.
